1. Typhoon Pedring glanced the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) early morning Tuesday with strong winds and heavy rains. In effect people lorded over the flooded streets in most affected areas of Metro Manila.
2. According to authorities Philippines experiences around 20 storms a year. In a very late warning to the public, typhoon Pedring is considered as one of the largest to hit the country carrying rain and wind path more than twice the average storm. This is what they call AFTERCAST!
3. Classes have been suspended in most levels. Authorities were alarmed by the suspected continuous protest of students against budget cut for education. They sought students planking amidst the howling typhoon Pedring.
4. Early morning of Tuesday, government and most business offices sent home their employees due to the heavy rains and howling winds. In particular, court employees went out their offices in their wet shirts to which they called - wet Tuesday protest.
